Requests for Transcript

To inquire about requesting a transcript, please call the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center at (313) 224-0409 or email CivilDomesticTranscripts@3rdcc.org. Transcripts can be filed in-person or by mail using the Transcript Request form. You will be contacted by a member of the Court Reporting Services staff once the form is received.

Fees

Pursuant to MCLA 600.2543, the rate for transcripts produced in the normal course of business is $1.75 per original page and $0.30 per page for each copy, unless a lower rate is agreed upon. 

Deposits

In the absence of a Court Order, monetary deposits are required before transcript requests can be processed. The following deposits apply for all cases:

• $50.00 per Motion/Hearing date
• $50.00 per Motion for Summary Disposition (non-appeal)
• $100.00 per Evidentiary Hearing date
• $200.00 per Trial date
