Requests for Transcript

To request a transcript, please call Court Reporting Services at Frank Murphy Hall of Justice at (313) 224-2086. Please provide as much information as possible when you call or send an email (case name, case number, date and time of hearing, judge the hearing was before, etc).

Fees

Pursuant to MCLA 600.2543, the rate for transcripts produced in the normal course of business is $1.75 per original page and $0.30 per page for each copy, unless a lower rate is agreed upon. 

Deposits

In the absence of a Court Order, monetary deposits are required before transcript requests can be processed. The following deposits apply for all cases:

• $50.00 per Motion/Hearing date
• $100.00 per Evidentiary Hearing date
• $200.00 per Trial date
