Detroit, MI – The Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan is pleased to announce the celebration of Adoption
Day 2023.
At any given time in the United States, there are over 100,000 children in the foster care system who
are eligible to be adopted. The Third Judicial Circuit is responsible for all adoptions that occur in
Wayne County – where more adoptions are filed and finalized than any other county in the State of
Michigan.
On November 17, 2023, the Court will celebrate a family creating a permanent and loving home for a
child. The celebration will be held at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Courtroom 1611, 2
Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226. It will occur between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Michigan Supreme Court Justices Kyra H. Bolden and Richard Bernstein will be providing remarks.
