Q. What brings you joy?
A. I enjoy meeting with my daughter each weekend for brunch. I also have the pleasure of being the Godmother to 16 children, ages 6 -32. The 6-year-old is a Spiderman fan and I recently delivered him the Spidey bath towel and blanket that Spiderman left at my house for him.
Q. How long have you worked at the Court?
A. All of my adult life. I've been here since I was 21-years-old.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like completing the court call dockets the day of the hearing so families can have their court orders as soon as possible. I worked at the Customer Service Window, so I am very sensitive to the fact that people want and need these as soon as possible.
Q. What's most challenging about your job?
A. Actually completing the court call dockets on the same day as the hearing is the biggest challenge as well.
Q. Where would you like to be at this moment?
A. I would love to be in Hawaii.
Q. Who is your favorite superhero?
A. My favorite superhero is Batman. Batman has no special powers. He cares about people and uses his normal/natural abilities to hep others.
Q. Name some of your favorite places:
A. My favorite places are Royal Oak, MI; Charlotte, NC; and, Albuquerque, NM.
Q. What's your favorite movie?
A. My favorite movie is The Godfather and the sequels.
Q. Are you a lifelong Detroiter?
A. I attended Pershing High School, the College for Creative Studies, and Wayne State University.
Q. If you did not work at Third Circuit Court, what type of work would you like to do?
A. If I did not work for the Court, I would have pursued a career as commercial artist. I use these skills to help for family events. I also create art and write poetry.
Q. How will you spend the Thanksgiving holiday?
A. I plan on gathering with the family for a meal.
Q. What is one thing most people do not know about you?
A. I am an avid Game of Thrones' fan. John Snow should be the next king and if he isn't, I will be in contact with the writers.
