Third Circuit Court Mourns Untimely Death of Hon. Richard M. Skutt |
Detroit, MI – I regret to inform you of the untimely death of the Hon. Richard M. Skutt on Monday, February 5, 2018. Judge Skutt was appointed to this Court on August 23, 2004.
During his tenure he was a trusted friend and colleague to all who worked with him. The Judge, court staff, and the Wayne County legal community will dearly miss him. Please keep his wife, Valerie, and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
At 12:30 p.m. today, I am requesting a moment of silence so that we may remember him in any way that you think is appropriate.
