Response to Confirmed Coronavirus Cases |
Detroit, MI - The Wayne County Third Circuit Court has learned that two of its employees have been diagnosed with the Coronavirus, Covid-19. One of the employees works at the Friend of the Court in the Penobscot Building and would have been in contact with staff and the public. That employee was diagnosed on March 16, 2020 and was last at work on March 13, 2020.
The other employee works at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice (Pretrial Services), left work ill on March 18, 2020 and was diagnosed on the same day.
The Court’s Administrative team is in the process of tracing the employees’ contacts with co-workers to advise them of their contact. The Team has been in contact with the various Departments of Health. Chief Judge Kenny has advised the elected officials of the County Departments that have staff who may have interacted with these employees.
