Detroit, MI – The Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan is pleased to announce the celebration of Adoption
Day 2022.
At any given time in the United States, there are over 100,000 children in the foster care system who are
eligible to be adopted. The Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan is responsible for all adoptions that occur
in Wayne County – where more adoptions are filed and finalized than any other county in the State of
Michigan.
On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 12:30 PM the Court will celebrate a family creating a permanent and loving home for a
child. Justice Richard H. Bernstein from the Michigan Supreme Court will be speaking.
The adoption proceeding will take place in Courtroom 1611 of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center (CAYMC), 2 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48226.
