Foster Family Mental and Clinical Resource Community Forum
On October 3rd at 5:00 PM the James E. Wadsworth, Jr. Community Center (JEWJCC} Foster Care and Adoption
Outreach Program will host a foster care family resource forum. The forum will be held at
Fellowship Chapel Church located at 7707 W. Outer Dr., Detroit, Ml 48219.
The forum's featured speakers are:
- Judge Edward J. Joseph, Juvenile Mental Health Court
- Dr. Lindsay Y. Carr, Clinical Psychologist - Clinic For Child Study
- Roland Smith, Director of CASA
"I think this forum can be a vital and critical link to resources for foster families in Wayne County," said
the event's host, Attorney Berlinda Good. "In addition to the seasoned and knowledgeable panel, we
will have resource tables manned by the Bethany Adoption Agency and the Michigan Adoption Resource
Exchange, MARE," Good added. She also pointed out that the event will provide a
Free Clothes Closet,
as well as information detailing clinical and mental health resources available at 3rd Judicial Court.
