Chambers protocol:
1. Motion practice- All regularly filed motions must be filed electronically and an ePraecipe must be submitted in order to get your motion scheduled. The moving party must then file a notice of hearing, proof of service and ePraecipe.
EMERGENCY MOTIONS- All emergency motions must be emailed to JudgeTriplett-Court@3rdcc.org. Judge Triplett will review the motion and make a determination whether a hearing will be held (the Court will issue a notice of hearing) or whether the motion will be heard at the Friend of the Court (if the motion involves custody, parenting time or child support).
2. All proposed orders must be emailed in PDF format to JudgeTriplett-Court@3rdcc.org.
3. Pro cons: All parties and their counsel must be present at the hearing to enter proofs on the record. All proposed orders (Judgment of Divorce, support orders, etc.) must be fully signed and submitted in PDF format prior to the hearing date.
4. Parties must submit a copy of the complaint along with any proposed Ex Parte Status Quo orders to JudgeTriplett-Court@3rdcc.org.
5. TRIALS AND EVIDENTIARY HEARINGS: All exhibits and trial briefs must be submitted to the Court as HARD COPIES. All exhibits must be tabbed, in a binder, and submitted to the Court prior to your scheduled trial or evidentiary hearing.
6. ADJOURNMENTS: Post-judgment cases seeking an adjournment may submit a stip and order to the courtroom email at JudgeTriplett-Court@3rdcc.org.
Pre-judgment cases will generally NOT be granted an adjournment, unless the parties have a scheduled mediation. A stip and order must be submitted to the Court via email. If you have any questions regarding an adjournment, please email the Courtroom.
7. Any questions should be submitted to Jasmine Abrams, Judicial Attorney, at JudgeTriplett-Court@3rdcc.org.
