Pre-Arraignment Unit

Pretrial Service Specialists in this Unit are responsible for interviewing defendants, conducting prior record investigations, assessing a defendant’s risk of appearing at their future hearings and a defendant’s risk to public safety, if released on bond.

Investigations Unit

Pretrial Service Specialists in this Unit are responsible for reviewing and evaluating information contained in the interview, conducting prior record investigations, assessing a defendant’s risk of appearing at future hearings and a defendant’s risk to public safety, if released on bond.

Guidelines Unit

Pretrial Service Specialists in this Unit are responsible for reviewing and assessing a defendant’s criminal history information and providing reports to the court.

Supervision Unit

Pretrial Service Specialists in this Unit are responsible for monitoring defendants released on personal bond or that are ordered to be supervised.

**Defendants that are under pretrial release supervision are required to call the Pretrial Services Supervision Unit at (313) 224-5898 to check-in as a condition of their bond.**
