The Court also is pursuing targeted grant opportunities. 3.The Court has improved systemspolicies, procedures, and practicesthat better serve the public and attract and retain committed employees. Practices are consistent and uniform.4.The Court, in partnership with community organizations (e.g., rec centers, libraries), has remote access points in communities. 5.Judges and staff are more efficient; we have found ways to improve / streamline how we do our work, we are using technology better/differently, etc. We are doing the work with fewer resources. 6.The Court has evaluated caseloads, workloads (e.g., including post judgment work) and staffing levels, and has allocated/reallocated resources as needed to meet needs (e.g., reduce backlogs, provide responsive and effective services). 7.Caseloads and workloads are manageable given creative solutions implemented in recent years (e.g., using alternative/non-traditional staff, reallocation of resources as needed). The backlog has been reduced/eliminated.The Court is meetingeven exceedingthe time standards and delivering the highest quality of services/justice to the people of Wayne County.The Court is using technologies to improve timeliness, efficiency, and effectiveness.8.A Family Courtone Judge one Familyhas been created. The Juvenile and Domestic divisions have merged.9.The Court has positive relations with County and justice system partners.All are working together to improve services to the public.
